Author: steve (2:20 am)
by: Dale Pfenning
Women suffering from hair loss can now get a full head of hair without surgery, which is securely attached and provides the freedom to live an active lifestyle. Costa Mesa, CA (PRWEB) February 16, 2005 — European Hair Institute has developed a hair replacement system designed exclusively for women with thinning hair. This system combines a variety of proven industry techniques resulting in a product specifically tailored to each client?s particular hair loss pattern. The system utilizes the clients own hair along with the system?s hair, allowing the density to be increased only in the areas needed. Combining several distinct techniques as part of the total solution allows the hairline and part line to look extremely natural. This custom designed system can be securely attached, providing up to 4-6 weeks of maintenance free wear. Unlike a wig, these systems do not retain excess heat allowing the scalp to breathe and remain cool. Dale Pfenning, president of European Hair Institute states; ?It is estimated that 20 million women in the US, suffer from hair loss. Until recently there has been no great solutions offered and women have resorted to wigs or clip-on pieces in an effort to conceal their thinning hair. Women are thrilled when they discover our solutions.? European Hair Institute has been servicing clients in the hair replacement industry for over ten years and is a premier provider of solutions for hair loss. They utilize the best quality hair from Russia, Europe and India. Linda, a client of European Hair Institute states; ? I have never seen hair like theirs, it is buttery soft, it?s absolutely beautiful, I was amazed by it?. Women suffering from hair loss should contact Dale Pfenning at European Hair Institute. Common Hair Mistakes
Author: steve (2:10 am)
by: Derrr Najknd
Tips for the people who loves their hair (PRWEB) February 16, 2005 — Common Hair Mistakes By Nadeem - The Hair Stylist 1. Not Trimming Your Hair Every 6 Weeks. The tip of each hair is weaker then the root, making it more vulnerable to breakage and split ends. Having the tips trimmed every 6 weeks helps to maintain the condition of your hair and its style. 2. Washing Hair on a Daily Basis. Regularly washing your hair strips it of essential oils and can leave it dry and brittle. If you have naturally oily hair, use a mild, pH-balanced shampoo. When washing your hair don’t rub the scalp vigorously as this will stimulate the oil glands to produce more sebum. 3. Rubbing Your Hair Vigorously with a Towel. The action of rubbing you hair with a towel actually roughens the hair cuticle, which can lead to frizzy, flyaway hair. 4. Leaving Shampoo and Conditioner in Your Hair. Shampoo and conditioner that is not thoroughly rinsed out of the hair is the worst culprit for bad hair days. It counteracts styling products, leaves your hair looking dull, limp and unmanageable. Try to rinse your hair for an extra couple of minutes after shampooing and conditioning. 5. Blow-Drying Hair Until Completely Dry. Overheating your hair makes it susceptible to breakage and strips it of shine. A better idea is to blow-dry hair until its 80% dry and then let it air dry, naturally. Alternatively use a leave-in conditioner or styling product that protects your hair from heat styling. Also, hold the hair dryer at least 30 centimetres away from your hair. 6. Not Using Products Recommended for Your Hair Type. Many people misdiagnose their hair type and subsequently purchase the wrong hair products to style hair. Using the right product will help to recreate that special salon style. 7. Not Using a Clarifying Shampoo Once a Week. Everyday pollutants cling to hair and leave a thin coat of grime that dulls and weighs down the hair. Using a clarifying shampoo once a week will give hair a residue free fresh start. 8. Thinking the Latest Fashion Hair Cut Will Suit You. Let?s face it; we’re not all beautiful models. Not all of us can get away with the latest, trendiest, most fashionable hair cut. May be that fashion cut can give you a worst look. It all depends on individual, their texture, their lifestyle, their quality of hair. Drastic haircuts take a long time to grow out, so be sure you want to take the risk before sitting in the char and letting your hairdresser go to work. Be specific and take lots of photographs to ensure you are getting the look you want. It is a good idea to take along a trusted friend for advice! Better yet, is to check out the style gallery on our website http://rexsalon.4mg.com. Nadeem, holds the national record (limca book of record holder) in Candle hair cut, blindfolded hair cut, hair cut with glass and papercutter. He had featured in various TV channels, Newspapers & websites. He works as a hair stylist at REX Salon, Chandigarh (INDIA). Recently he conducted a seminar on hair styling and Japanese rebonding, It was very successful various hair dressers & beauticians from the region participated and appreciated his work.

Choosing a Hair Loss Remedy
Author: steve (2:00 am)
by: Karen Brown
For those persons dealing with the issue of hair loss, it may be a daunting task to choose a hair loss remedy. For various reasons individuals may have difficulty in choosing which treatment will work. Sometimes, those individuals try multiple remedies to try to find one that works. In order to choose the right hair loss remedy, those individuals need to follow a few steps.
First of all, persons experiencing hair loss need to determine why they are losing hair before deciding on treatment. After determining the cause, the next action may occur. Looking at the various reasons, there are different types of hair loss remedies to choose. A brief list of causes are heredity, aging, high stress, poor nutrition, hormonal changes, and so on. All of these causes create the same effect - hair loss - however, they may need to be treated in different ways.
After assessing the cause of hair loss, individuals need to research the possible treatments to discern the best hair loss remedy. Depending on the situation, different treatments will work in different ways, or not at all. Thus why those individuals need to know the cause of hair loss to begin. When choosing a hair loss remedy, individuals have the options of herbal and vitamin supplements, oral pills, hair transplants, and so forth. Another remedy for hair loss could be avoiding harmful situations, such as high stress, too much hair chemicals, and poor grooming and nutrition. All of these factors may contribute to hair loss, and therefore, to remedy the situation, individuals would want to avoid these.
In the case of individuals loosing hair due to heredity, choosing a hair loss remedy may be cut and dry. If these individuals are already experiencing much hair loss, preventing any further damage may be difficult. However, those persons may take vitamins and use herbal supplements, including shampoos, to avoid losing the rest of their hair. Along these lines, for those individuals to replace the already missing hair, a remedy, such as hair transplants or oral pills that stimulate hair growth, may be the way to replace hair. Often times, this type of hair loss remedy will also prevent and future hair loss while replacing hair.
When individuals lose hair due to hormonal changes, especially in women during various stages, like after birth and menopause, a good choice for a hair loss remedy would be a pill or vitamin that regulated hormones in the body, stopping any further hair loss and/or hair damage.
Overall, choosing a hair loss remedy depends on the circumstances. After figuring out the cause of the hair loss, the persons may then research the available treatments. From there, these individuals may choose a remedy, or remedies, that best will work best. Even if the chosen remedy does not work, there are other options that may work. It takes a little time, research, experimenting, and patience to find a proficient hair loss remedy that prevents and treats damaged hair, or that re-grows/replaces previously lost hair.

Causes of Hair Loss
Author: steve (1:50 am)
by: Karen Brown
Hair loss, in both men and women, can be a difficult matter to face. Most of the time, the individuals who are dealing with hair loss focus solely on the prevention/treatment of hair loss rather than the origin, which may aid in the prevention/treatment of hair loss. Although hair loss causes vary from person to person, there are a few main factors that cause hair loss, such as heredity and aging.
In men, the most common causes of hair loss are heredity, hormones and aging. These contribute to the potential for men to lose hair. In women, some common causes of hair loss include poor circulation, hormonal changes after menopause or having a baby, and poor diet. A few other causes of hair loss include high stress, diabetes, certain drugs, chemicals and hair dyes, vitamin deficiencies and poor nutrition, and so on.
In the case of losing hair based on genes, there may not be much that men or women can do in the way of prevention. Chances are that if a parent or close relative, or many close relatives, suffer from hair loss, these individuals with also have hair loss caused by heredity. In these instances, hair loss acts like a genetic based disease or trait that carries itself in DNA. However, not all hair loss is heredity based. In fact, some individuals may experience hair loss, while their parents and close relatives have not. Usually, this means that another factor is causing the hair loss, like high stress or poor nutrition.
When individuals experience hair loss at early ages or in drastic amounts, this generally indicates that these persons are sustaining an agent that is contributing to the hair loss. As aforementioned, along with others, causes of hair loss, especially in premature and/or drastic cases, are heredity, high stress and weakness from overworking, hair dyes and other chemicals, diseases, and so on.
Depending on the reasons for hair loss, there are different methods to attempt to treat this condition; however, it is important to first recognize the cause of hair loss in order to discern which type of treatment to use, if any. For example, if the cause of hair loss is a disease, or treatment for a disease, like in the case of using chemotherapy to treat cancer, then a treatment may not aid in the prevention of hair loss. Yet, if the cause of hair loss is from stress, then attempts may be made to prevent stress and treatment products may be used to repair already damaged hair.
Overall, hair loss, no matter what the cause, is a difficult matter to confront. Knowing the cause of hair loss, however, may contribute to the prevention/treatment of hair loss. Individuals may not have control over why they are losing hair - from heredity to aging - yet they may find the necessary means to attempt to treat the damaged hair. The multiple factors contributing to hair loss make the task of undertaking the treatment of hair loss difficult, but not impossible. Even in the most extreme cases, there is usually a solution for the cause.

Best Hair Loss Treatments and Options for Hair Loss
Author: steve (1:40 am)
by: Mike Trobee
This articles talks about many of the hair loss treatments available today and which one is right for you. Is hair restoration surgery right for you or one of the newer hair loss products? The following text will discuss which options will provide you with the best hair loss treatment. (PRWEB) fEBRUARY 21, 2005 — As the baby-boomers age there is a growing concern for the treatment of hair loss. Many individuals turn to surgical hair restoration. The science of hair transplants has migrated to follicular transplantation, which is basically redistributing individual hair follicles (follicular units) from areas of hair growth to areas of hair loss. The outcome of surgical hair transplantation can be dramatic when performed by skilled medical doctors. The drawback to these types of hair loss treatments is the cost. Often costs can run into five digit numbers. There are alternative hair loss products available today that may not offer the ?instant? success of hair transplants but they can offer solutions to many of the root causes of hair loss. There has been much study in 3 main areas of alternative hair loss treatments. 1) DHT inhibitors ? Male pattern baldness is a genetic condition of hair loss in which hair follicles do not continue to grow as a result of DHT (dihydrotestosterone.) DHT causes the hair to become thinner, and soon the hair has a ?peach fuzz? look and later falls out. Popular hair loss products such as Revivogen? (www.onlyhairloss.com/revivogen/about.htm ) and Hair Genesis? (www.onlyhairloss.com/hairgenesis/faq.htm ) aid in blocking DHT from the hair follicle so hair loss does not occur. Neither of these hair loss products can ?grow hair? but they may be very successful in preventing further hair loss. 2) Copper peptide therapy as a hair loss treatment ? Many new hair loss products are based on new copper peptide technology. Copper peptides can effectively deliver copper to the hair follicles and help improve the health of the scalp and may limit the loss of hair. The hair loss products Tricomin? (www.onlyhairloss.com/tricomin/about.htm ) and Folligen? are based on copper peptide technology for hair loss. 3) Superoxide Dismutase (SOD) treatment for hair loss ? Products such as Minoxidil and Nanogaine? use superoxide dimutase as a possible solution to preventing hair loss. Simply put superoxide dimutases help move nitric acid to the hair follicle and prevent free radical damage. Nitric acid helps dilate blood vessels, which increase blood flow to the hair follicles. SOD hair loss products offer a solution in the preventing of further hair loss. For more information on superoxide dimutase please go to www.onlyhairloss.com/nanogaine/howitworks.htm . What is the best hair loss treatment for you? In the case of typical ?male pattern?, baldness the best hair loss treatment may be determined by your budget, degree of hair loss, age, and your desire for success. If your hair loss has progressed and you have the money and desire, medical hair restoration surgery may be the right choice. If you are in the beginning phases of hair loss you may want to invest in one of the preventative hair loss treatments mentioned above. Some of the more popular hair loss products available are: Advecia Dermatch Follicare Folligen FNS by Osmotics GLH - Good Looking Hair Hair Energizer Hair Formula 37 Hair Genesis Hair Stimulator Nanogaine Nanogen Nisim NuGen HP Nu Hair for Men Nu Hair for Women Melancor Minoxidil 2% Minoxidil 5% Procerin ProVillus Revivogen Rogaine 2% (women) Rogaine 5% (men) Shen Min for Men Shen Min for Women Thymuskin For more information on hair loss treatments go to www.onlyhairloss.com

Hair growth products are available in many forms: natural essential oils, natural herbs, conventional drugs, shampoos, serums, lotions and conditioners. Nowadays there are so many hair loss products available on the market with the intention to stop or prevent hair loss. Baldness and Hair Loss Products: You Might Have More Control Than You Think
Author: steve (1:20 am)
by: Barton Griffen
Many hair loss remedies exist that can prevent hair loss, slow down hair loss, reduce hair loss or sometimes reverse hairloss. An understanding of the natural hair growth cycle can help you make better decisions about the hair loss treatment that’s right for you. (PRWEB) July 28, 2005 — Many hair loss treatments are based on assumptions about your hair and hair growth. A common remedy for hair loss involves transplanting healthy hair follicles to areas of your scalp where hair is thinning out or already gone. Another hair loss remedy uses topical chemical hair loss treatments to stimulate the follicles to produce more hair cells. All of these conventional methods of treating baldness or thinning hair follow a certain premise: That something is inherently wrong with your hair follicles, making it impossible for them to produce strong, healthy hair as quickly as the old strands of hair fall out. The usual explanation is that your genes make baldness inevitable. Currently we can?t correct hair loss associated with the genes you inherited. However, there are many other factors that can cause thinning or hair loss. Sometimes it?s possible to prevent or slow hair loss by using simple methods. Many natural herbs can help improve hair growth. You can learn about specific herbs and how they work together to slow hair loss or prevent hair loss by visiting http://www.samsonssecret.com The Physiology of Hair Loss Once you understand the hair growth and hair loss cycle, you?ll know how it?s possible to keep your hair strong, thick, and healthy without the use of chemical hair loss products or other extreme hair restoration techniques. Your hair grows and falls out in three phases, the anagen, catagen, and telogen phase. Each follicle repeats this cycle while you grow more hair. In the anagen phase, your follicle is actively growing hair. A healthy follicle will produce thick, strong hair during the anagen phase. A weak, damaged, or malnourished follicle might have a shorter anagen phase, or produce thinner, weaker hair. If the anagen phase is short, your hair will be shorter, because the follicle won?t have enough time to produce longer hair before finishing the hair growth phase. At the end of the anagen phase, your hair growth will slow down. This is the catagen phase of hair growth. Finally, your hair stops growing and you reach the telogen phase of hair growth. In the telogen phase, your follicle is ?resting.? The hair shaft remains more or less as it was at the end of the anagen phase. However, if the telogen phase is long enough, your hair will be more susceptible to damage from pollution, chlorine, heat, and other factors. This may cause your hair to become weak or brittle. If the follicle is healthy, however, it may produce stronger, thicker hair that will be more resistant to chemical and environmental damage. Naturally you want a long, robust growth phase, and you want to minimize the damage done to your hair during the resting phase. This is where you have a choice. A lot of your hair growth cycle is dictated by your genes. You inherit traits such as pattern baldness, thinning hair, and a receding hairline. However, these conditions can be created or made worse by environmental factors and diet. Before you resign yourself to hair loss, or before you resort to chemical hair growth formulas or hair restoration techniques, look for healthy, inexpensive alternatives. Nutrition and Hair Loss Your hair is a subsystem of the body. This means that it?s one of the last parts of your body to absorb nutrients that you take in. All the critical proteins and nutrients go to your heart, brain, liver, and other important organs. Even with a healthy diet, it?s possible that your hair isn?t getting adequate amounts of trace minerals and less-available vitamins. This is the first way that herbal hair loss formulas can help you. Many herbs provide an extra boost of important nutrients that nourish your hair follicles. Some herbs may also increase the flow of nutrients to your scalp, making sure that the nutrients you take for your hair reach your hair. When your hair follicles are properly nourished, they are more likely to produce stronger hair. In some cases, the growth, or anagen phase, may last longer. Environment and Hair Loss During the telogen, or resting phase, the hair shaft no longer grows. But during this time, the hair shaft can suffer damage from chemicals, sun, and pollution. Your hair can become brittle, and break more easily. Many herbs contain natural substances that help purify your blood and minimize the damage of harmful chemicals. Herbal hair loss products might protect your hair from environmental damage in two ways. If your hair follicle was well nourished during the growth phase, the hair shaft may be stronger and more resistant to damage. The growth phase might be longer and more frequent, which helps to minimize the damage to the hair shaft. Can Herbal Hair Loss Remedies Protect Your Hair? If your hair loss condition is hereditary, herbal hair loss remedies can?t protect you from your fate. But they might be able to slow the hair loss process. And if your condition isn?t entirely genetic, herbal hair loss products might be the ideal solution for you. You always have a choice when it comes to your hair. Are Your Searching In Vain For The Causes of Hair Loss?
Author: steve (1:10 am)
by: Peter Crump
Trying to find out what causes hair to fall out is often very hard to do. This is because there are so many different causes of hair loss, there is no one common denominator that one can look to. Causes of hair loss range from heredity, an anti-immune condition, stress, hormonal changes, diet, rest and hair care. In order to find out what is causing your hair loss, you should first visit your doctor. He/She will do a series of test to try to find the cause and discuss the possible treatments for your particular hairloss.
If the causes of hair loss have to do with medication, such as chemotherapy or certain antibiotics, then your hair will start to grow back once you complete the regimen of treatment. There is no need to consider any hair regrowth systems because the hair loss situation is only temporary. What many people do not realize is that diet plays a big part in healthy hair. Research has shown that a diet low in certain B vitamins is one of the causes of hair loss. You can watch your diet and increase the foods that contain these essential elements or you can take a vitamin supplement. While this is a healthy practice in itself, taking too many vitamins for hair regrowth could have the opposite effect and also cause hair loss.
If you have a condition known as alopecia, then there are no hair regrowth systems that will help you regrow your natural hair. There is no cure for this condition, although many advertised products would have you believe there is. Many of the commercial products that claim to be able to regrow hair, and while they do work for some customers there is no guarantee that they will work for you. If the doctor determines that the cause of hair loss in your case is not medical, then you can try some of the hair regrowth systems on the market.
One of the surgical hair regrowth systems that men and women commonly use is the hair transplant. Older methods of this system meant taking patches of skin containing hair, dissecting it into hair grafts and then grafting it back on to the scalp so that it would grow together as a normal head of hair. There are also more modern methods of this system, such as gluing synthetic hair onto the scalp - almost like wearing a permanent wig. This method is also one of the causes of hairloss because when you pull if off, you also take hairs off your head.
Another of the hair regrowth systems is the hair weave. With this system, as with all others, the surgeon has to make sure you have had a regular check up to make sure there are no underlying medical causes of hairloss. With the hair weave, the foundation fabric of a hair piece is actually woven underneath your existing hair. This does tend to come loose and will have to be retightened every few months, which will cost you money. However, having this done at regular intervals is no more expensive than going to the hairdresser every week.
There are many causes of hair loss, if you are worried about your hair loss the first step is to find out what is causing yours.

Are There Really Vitamins For Hair Loss?
Author: steve (1:00 am)
by: Peter Crump
While there are vitamins you can take for healthy hair and to help prevent hair loss, the downside of this is that taking excessive amounts of vitamins can actually lead to hair loss. Some of the most important vitamins for hair loss are the B vitamins because they contain:
?Folic acid
?Magnesium
?Biotin
?Sulfur
?Zinc
?Inositol
Through laboratory experiments with theses vitamins for hair loss, scientists have seen a decrease in thinning hair in lab animals. These results show that a diet low in magnesium cause hair loss in patches, while one low in biotin or inositol results in total baldness.
If you look at taking vitamins for hair loss, you will notice that these are vitamins essential for good health as long as you take them in moderation. Vitamin A is one of the vitamins to increase hair growth, but if you abuse it, it can also result in hairloss. Before taking any vitamins for hair loss or to increase hair growth, you should contact your doctor to find the underlying cause for the hair loss. A blood test will determine if you have a deficiency in any of the necessary vitamins.
There are other foods that also help to promote hair growth. Fatty acids, for example, while they are not vitamins for hair loss, do help to improve the texture of your hair and prevent dryness and brittle ends. Instead of taking vitamins to increase hair growth, you can make sure that your diet contains the foods in which you find the vitamins you need.
Having healthy portions of vegetables, such as beans, carrots, peas and cauliflower can go a long way to helping you keep your hair. The same thing applies to eggs, nuts and bran. These foods also help the organs of the body work the way they should.
Doctors will tell you that proper nutrition is as important for healthy hair as regular washing. You can also get shampoos and conditioners that contain vitamins for your hair, but you should not rely on these alone. Many experts recommend using a hot oil treatment once or twice a month to keep you hair healthy. These are much more affordable alternatives than taking vitamins for hairloss every day. You also know that there is no danger of taking too many vitamins to increase hair growth and having the reverse occur.
Vitamins for hairloss can be as simple as a good diet. Pay attention to what you eat.

Hair loss causes a great deal of stress and anxiety. In society, one of the factors other people judge us by is our looks, which includes our hair. Hair loss, therefore, can have an enormous impact on self-perception, self-esteem, and social life. Although there is no cure for excessive hair loss caused by male or female pattern hair loss, there are a variety of hair loss remedies available for people suffering from hair loss.
One hair loss remedy is simply to learn to live with it. It is, after all, a common, normal process that many go through much like acne. Talking to a counselor may help you cope with any self-esteem issues you may face as the result of hair loss.
Many people that suffer from hair loss find that one good remedy can be found in hair styling and cosmetic techniques. Hair coloring, waves, and haircuts alone can make a big difference in the way you look and feel, making hair loss much less apparent.
Rogaine, the FDA approved topical treatment for female and male pattern hair loss, is a popular hair loss remedy. Though not always effective in promoting new hair growth, if used regularly, Rogaine can be effective in slowing or even stopping hair loss.
Hair attachments are another option in the search for an effective hair loss remedy. Made out of human hair and synthetic fibers, these attachments give the appearance of a fuller head of hair. They are kept on by being anchored to the existing hair, skin, or grafted on through surgical techniques.
Lastly, a hair loss remedy that can be effective but costly is hair transplant or replacement surgery. With improving results and procedures, this surgical procedure takes healthy follicles and distributes them over other areas of the scalp affected by baldness.
